Hi! My name is Cutie and I am a 1.5 year old terrier mix. I came to Buffalo with my four puppies when we ran out of time at an overcrowded, high kill shelter in North Carolina. Before I ended up in the shelter, I was kept chained up in a backyard.  I had never been in a house before which has been an adjustment (a GREAT one). I am learning quickly and my foster parents always tell me what how sweet I am. I can be cautious when I meet new people but warm up quickly! I currently live with 3 adult dogs that I absolutely love hanging out with! It took us a little while to get used to each other but now we are the best of friends!  I am crate trained and am working on following basic commands.

I am about to start heartworm treatment, which requires crate rest and extremely minimal activity.  I absolutely like being outside, but need to be kept on my leash until I am finished with my crate rest.  If I am adopted in to my forever home during treatment, the rescue continues to provide the treatment as no cost to the adopter!  Heartworm is completely curable so you don't have to worry!
