Dakota is a 4-5 month old shepherd mix female up for adoption. She is an active puppy who is just learning how to play with squeaky toys and other dogs. But she loves relaxing on the couch next to you just watching TV. She will be a medium sized dog and loves to go for walks. She is almost completely potty trained and has had very few accidents. She is learning to walk quietly on a leash and will stay close to you, but will benefit from a puppy class to fine tune her leash walking. Dakota is eager to please and works very well for yummy treats or just a “good girl”. She is crate trained and sleeps thru the night quietly but enjoys lots of human contact. She is a little hesitant around other dogs, but is gaining confidence and will need to continue to be socialized with other dogs until she is truly confident playing and spending time with other friendly dogs. She needs to build her confidence. Dakota loves human contact more than anything else. She wants nothing more than to be close to her human. She will be a wonderful family dog and companion.

Dakota's adoption fee is $275 + $50 training deposit that is refunded upon proof of completion of an obedience course.
