Hi, my name is Sheena!  I am a 4-year-old Shiba Inu.  I am a stunning little girl who weighs approximately 22 lbs.  My life changed at the beginning of June when I came into the rescue from a puppy mill from Ohio.  I have made huge strides in learning how it feels to be loved and how to enjoy being a dog.  I absolutely love human attention and am very generous with my kisses.  I have discovered toys and how much fun they are to play with!  I never had toys in the puppy mill, but now I have all I can play with and then some thanks to my foster Mom and Dad.  I am so happy to play with my new toys that I throw them in the air myself and then go and fetch them.  My foster Mom says that she gets such joy watching me discover the the little things, like play with my toys.

I currently live with 3 other dogs in my foster home and I get along fine with them. I am crate trained and house broken. I had to learn about walking on a leash, but I’ve mastered that skill and I enjoy my daily walks with my foster family. I am also working hard on learning my basic commands.  My foster Mom says I’m really smart and has no doubt that I’ll catch on fast.
