Hi!  My name is Sadie, and just as the poem suggests, I’ve been learning all about how to be the best behaved, lady-like dog I can be.  I was pretty scared when I travelled from Ohio to Buffalo, but when my foster-mom said it was ok to be nervous and to just be myself, that was all it took for me to start gaining confidence, learning my manners and having fun.  I live with another dog, and play outside with up to three others!  What fun!  I love chewing on bones and really love treats.  I even got doggie ice cream one time and that was amazing!  I am crate trained, and will sometimes go in there just to hang out, but when my foster-mom comes back from wherever she was, I am so happy to see her, I can’t control my tail, and give lots of kisses.  I go right outside to run around and work off my extra energy so I can snuggle when I come back in.

I’m looking for a home of my own.  I wouldn’t mind another fur brother or sister, and cats don’t bother me at all.  I have a little bit of energy, so taking walks will be a lot of fun for me.  Or, if you have a back yard with a fence, wow! That would be awesome too!
