Meet the darling super heroine Gwen Stacy! She is 7-year-old puppy mill mom who came to BCARES in rough shape with severe eye infection, covered in fleas, and anemic. She was a sad little scared pup. Upon her arrival, she looked a little “pudgy” and at the eye appointment we found out that Gwen was pregnant – surprise!.  Gwen gave birth to one pup, the indominable Nick Furry, in late February. She gets a long great with all the dogs and young kid in her foster home. Gwen has attached herself to her foster mom and follows her everywhere. Gwen loves taking walks with her pack buddy, Tank, but is learning to be comfortable when other dogs are anywhere in sight. She likes the car and hanging out on the porch. And Gwen LOVES to eat!  Her foster family has decided she’s been in her home all along. They can’t bear her to leave and wish to give her the best of her remaining years.
