Hi, my name is Shelby. I am an approximately 5 month old purebred Newfoundland that Buffalo CARES saved from a puppy mill. They brought me to WNY to find my forever home.  I'm learning what life in the real world and outside of a mill is all about.  So far I've learned to climb up and down stairs, how to get on the couch, basic commands of sit, down and paw.  So, to say that I'm a smart girl is certainly an understatement!  I also learned that I can trust my people which is really important!  I am working really hard on my potty training and have found that a regular routine helps me.  I have also learned that a leash means an adventure outside!
I have the most luxurious, soft fur which I will shed all over your house!  I also am a very sweet dog and I love to get petted, brushed, and get kisses on my muzzle. I will need to continue my training because I will be a very big girl.  Please research and be familiar with my breed before applying for me so we can make sure we will be a good match.  Once you've done that, if you think we should meet - apply for me today!
