Hi Everyone - my name is Tesha!  I am a pure bred German Shepherd who is as sweet and gentle as can be. My foster mom says that I'm really intelligent and learn quickly. I am house trained and leash trained. I am also crated trained, but crates are unnecessary as I never touch anything that's not mine, well, except unattended food on the counter. I'm not above taking a snack off the counter, especially bacon...I love bacon!  Can you blame me? 
There is some question about my age, and as you know, age is just a number! Suffice to say, I am a young lady somewhere between 3 and 5 years old.  I spent the beginning of my life in a puppy mill, and now I get to learn to be a dog!  Tesha means survivor - and that I am.  I'm low key and spend a lot of time watching what's going on. I like to chew on my bones. I have met a few toys and truly don't understand what the fuss is about them. I enjoy long walks with one of my canine foster brothers. While I'm a bit reserved, I will become your shadow once I know that I can trust you. I do prefer a home without young children as they make me quite nervous. A fenced yard is necessary to keep me safe. A home with a calm dog for me to continue to  learn from would be perfect. I've spent the last few months in my foster home learning the ropes and now I think that I'm ready to give my heart to my own family.
