Hi! My name is Ellie and I am a petite 4 year old pit bull terrier. I only weigh about 40lbs and think I am a lap dog. There’s nothing I enjoy more than spending time with my humans, especially my 2 human foster sisters. I love to snuggle up with them on the couch and even try to convince them I should sleep with them at night. Thankfully I love my crate so I sleep in there at night and when they aren’t home. Sometimes I just go in there to chill out. Another great thing about my human foster sisters is that they play tricks for treats with me. I know come, sit, lay down, shake, and roll over. My foster mom says I’m the best girl because I come every time she calls me and I walk nice on a leash for her too. I’m working on my sit/stay and place commands so I can practice being calm when other dogs approach me. I get really excited when I meet new dogs because I love playing almost as much as I love snuggling. When I’m not with my humans I am usually playing with my k9 foster sister. We wrestle and play tug. Sometimes we just walk around the yard and sniff stuff or chase squirrels. I haven’t met a human or dog I haven’t liked.
