Hey there! My name is Winona, and I am a gorgeous 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier. I am a fit 44 pounds and work hard to keep my summer body all year long. People have told me that I’m adorable, stunning, elegant and have a nice booty. When I get excited, not only does my tail wag, my entire booty wags and wiggles. I guess it’s pretty cute. I can be energetic, lazy, cuddly, a couch potato, playful, the life of the party, attached to your side, curious & anything else you can think of. When I’m tired, you will find me laying down, sucking on my blankie like it’s a pacifier. It calms me and puts me right to sleep.

In my foster home, I have two K9 sisters to keep me company & play with. I also have a 12 y/o human child in the home that I adore. Me and my K9 friends love to wrestle and run around the yard chasing each together. I also LOVE toys. My favorites are ropes for playing tug, stuffed toys that squeak & something to chew on. I will try to be everyone’s best friend and I mean everyone! I’m a total love bug, a true people person! I’m also a true dog’s dog and seem to get along with every other dog I have met. Some of my other favorite things are back scratches… they almost paralyze me they feel so good. Ice cubes. LOVE me some ice cubes! I will come running from the other side of the house if I hear the ice cubes!

I am currently working on my basic commands. I am a pro at “sit”. My other commands like “down” & “stay” are coming along nicely as well as my other house manners. I am a pretty smart girl and extremely food motivated which they tell me makes training easier. Don’t tell them but I just pretend I know what they are saying so I get all the treats! I am potty trained, crate trained and walk like a classy, well-behaved lady on leash. I am not the dog who will pull you down the street on walks.
