Hi! My name is Sheila Sweetzu! I am a 6-year-old Shih-Tzu and am just a little girl at only 9 pounds. Let me tell you a bit about myself, first and foremost is that I love to cuddle with people on the couch, it is literally my favorite thing to do! Being snuggled and petted makes me so very happy!! I am pretty little and have these short little legs so that makes jumping up on the couch pretty impossible for me but don’t you worry, you know those things they call pet stairs, well with those, I can get up and down without a problem. Another one of my favorite things is sleeping in bed with my people, that way I can cuddle up to them all night and they can keep me warm on those cold nights.  My foster family have two small dogs and I do great with them and I have also met some bigger dogs at adoption events and did great with them as well. I have met lots of new people at those events and of course they all want to hold me and I let them because I love all that attention and love. There is a toddler at my foster home and I do ok with her and have also met other kids and have done fine. I have never met a cat but I don’t think I would mind them, but of course it would be best to meet to be sure. I am crate trained, walk on a leash and I am 99% potty trained now, with just an occasional accident, my foster Mom says I am doing great and she is so proud of me! I love being outside and exploring the yard, but when that snow comes, you are going to have to clear me a spot or you may loose me in the deep snow, remember those short little legs I was telling you about. I also have had my first visit with a groomer and I did great, I didn’t mind it at all.
