Meet Beatrice! Beatrice is a sweet and mellow four year old lady who is looking for a forever home of her very own. Beatrice is quite the catch – she is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and is great with kids. If that wasn’t enough…..she also knows sit, down, and stay! Beatrice is a lovable girl who adores people – she is currently being fostered with a 6 year old and is very gentle with her. She currently lives with 5 other dogs and she is working on learning how to play and enjoy life with them. She will do best with calm dogs who will respect her space. She would benefit from some continued socialization in her forever home. Beatrice was rescued by our CARES Volunteers from an Ohio kill shelter and if she could tell us her story, it would likely be a sad one. She came to us with some ground down and missing teeth and was far too thin. Nevertheless, Beatrice is a warrior and doesn’t let her past hold her back from enjoying the good life. Her foster family is giving her the love and care she needs, but what Beatrice really wants is a forever home of her own. She comes fully up to date on shots, microchippd, heart worm tested, dewormed, on flea and heart worm preventative, and spayed.
