Nova is a 1 year old Lab/Bassett He LOVES attention from his humans, and snuggles at every opportunity and although he has typical puppy energy, he easily switches to playing with toys, on his own when his people are busy with other activities. Nova's pictures are deceiving, he weighs in at 23 lbs and is a really petite snuggle bunny! Nova is crate trained and settles easily into his crate, for the night or a day time nap. He knows sit, off, come and learns well with treats. He is very eager to please his humans and learns commands easily. Nova is potty trained and has been doing very well going outside to relieve himself. If he is taken out every few hours his accidents are minimal. Nova currently resides with a 10 year old Akita/Lab, a 6 year old Basset/Lab, a 5 year old Chihuahua/Pomeranian and 3 cats. He has integrated well into the dog pack however, chases the cats and would be better in a cat free home. He is walking well on a leash, with the rest of the pack, however, does need reinforcement to stay before going out the door for a walk. Nova comes fully up to date on shots, microchippd, heart worm tested, dewormed, on flea and heart worm preventative, and neutered.
