If you love adorable beagles and puppies, meet Hans, the handsomest beagle pup we know! Hans is a snuggly and playful 5 month old "lemon" beagle, called such for his unique blond spots. When Hans first came to us, he was timid and shy around the new humans, but from the minute he saw his big furry foster sister, he was in love! Hans always wants to see what his big foster is up to and wants to be just like her. Hans is also friendly and playful with the humans now, but we think he would really love a home with a puppy-friendly dog to play with. He loves playing tug with his rope and running around the backyard before snuggling in to watch TV. He has not met any cats or children yet, but we think he would be just fine with respectful children. As a former stray, Hans is still working on his house manners. He sleeps nicely in his crate beside the bed through the night (no middle of the night potty breaks!), and he can be safely crated while you are at work without destroying his toys or blankets. However, we are still working on housebreaking and his new family should be prepared for a few accidents. Hans also looks forward to continuing basic puppy training, such as not mouthing and other good manners with you.
