Oscar is a shih tzu mix, estimated to be about 6 years old. While he started off a bit shy after being rescued from the streets of Buffalo, he has completely come out of his shell with his foster family. He and his foster brother have great play sessions together and even share a bed during nap time. His excitement comes out when his leash does and he loves going out for walks. While his foster brother is quite a bit younger, their energy levels are very similar. He's housebroken and prefers his freedom outside a crate, but progress has been made with crate training.  He's friendly with everyone he comes in contact with and even has the patience for children.
