Hi, my name is Willow. I have the most beautiful coat that makes people refer to me as a “dilute tortie or tortoiseshell”.  This means that my coat is made up of many soft shades, of different colors.  My coat is soft grey, cream and an almost “peach” color. Photos just don’t do me justice!   My foster Mom read that cats of my coloration are believed to bring good luck according to the folklore.

Well, it was my good luck to end up with Buffalo CARES because I have a warm home, healthy food and several other kittens to play with until I find my forever home.  This situation is much better than the parking lot I was living in.  

According to cat expert Jackson Galaxy (you know, the neat guy on the “My Cat From Hell” TV show….of which I am not one of THOSE cats), tortoiseshell cats tend to have a much more distinct personality. The magazine of the Smithsonian Institution has reported that studies suggest many tortoiseshell owners believe their cats have increased attitude and they call it "tortitude".  While there is no science that supports this, my foster Mom says that I am very sweet, introspective and I watch everything around me including her, the other kittens, and the sunshine on the wall.  I like to think before I act, unlike that other kitten Jazzy who is a goof-ball.  I also like to be held and petted….it makes me purr, which makes me very happy.  I am petite and I am told that I probably will not get very big. While I may stay small in stature, my heart is big and I would like to share it with my forever family!  Could it be you?
