We’re excited to announce that Buffalo Cares Rescue will be participating in a very special community event at KeyBank Center, aimed at raising awareness for the thousands of pets across Western New York still searching for a place to call home. This Pet Adoption Extravaganza brings together many of WNY’s incredible shelters and rescue groups under one roof — giving prospective adopters the unique opportunity to meet and fall in love with adoptable pets of all shapes and sizes. Join Buffalo CARES Animal Rescue and Golden Mat Yoga for a morning for yoga and relaxation. Led by a certified Yoga instructor, and former Buffalo CARES volunteer, you will be led through guided exercises designed to calm, stretch and rejuvenate your senses. Please bring your yoga mat, bottle of water and an at-will donation or bag of dog food. Buffalo C.A.R.E.S. has been invited to attend a memorial basket raffle and blood drive in association with Connect Life in honor of James Francis Lee III. He passed away June 28, 2021, due to complications with dialysis from diabetes and congestive heart failure at the age of 42. James was an avid comic book and novel reader; he was also a pet lover, movie aficionado and standup comedy fan. He enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills, Sabres and wrestling. He also took pleasure in taking long drives listening to music and podcasts. He was an amazing person who found humor in everything he did.
Connect Life's blood center is a vital component of WNY's medical community, and your support will help to ensure that there is always blood available for patients in need.

This fun, dog-friendly event is all about rescue, relaxation, and retail therapy— enjoy pet-themed shopping, food trucks, live music, and more. Stop by our booth to learn more about fostering, volunteering, and adopting through Buffalo C.A.R.E.S. and meet some of our adoptable pups looking for their furever homes. Admission is FREE Let’s make it a pawsome day together!
