My name is IVAN! I am a distinguished older PUREBRED Husky. I was found wandering around looking for a FOREVER home. I would prefer a QUIET retirement home, where I can hang out with my people, sleep on a comfy bed and be fed lots of snacks. My favorite place in the house is wherever you are. I LOVE to follow my people around. If you are in the living room, I will lay next to your feet. If you are in the kitchen, then I will lay near you in there and watch you cook. I may be secretly wishing you would drop something, but I’ll never admit it. I don’t mind if you want to take a little walk, hang out in the backyard, just no jogging. I’m too old for that stuff now. I wouldn’t mind another older dog in the house but those puppies are just too much energy for me. I can’t keep up anymore. I was recently introduced to some feline friends. I am not sure if I like them or not, so I would prefer a home without the kitties. I do not want to stress them out. I am an older gentleman, who is housebroken, crate trained and has the basic commands down. I am strong so walking nice on a leash is something my trainer is teaching me.
