HI there! My name is Jersey but I am a Buffalo gal through and through. I am a year & a half old pit bull mix with a coat that is the color of moonbeams according to my foster mom. Foster mom keeps singing to me "Buffalo gals, won't you come out tonight, And dance by the light of the moon"....she says it's my song! I like having my own song! Until I came to Buffalo Cares I really didn't have much of anything at all. A nice lady found me and asked the nice folks at Buffalo Cares to help me and that is how I got here.  Right now, I am learning how to do things like walking nicely on a leash and coming when my name is called. I am also learning that people can be nice but sometimes I still get a little shy when I meet new people or other dogs. But I am a brave girl and foster mom says I am smart too; so I think everything is going to be ok!

Every day when I close my eyes I dream about a nice calm home where gentle people love me and dance with me in the moonlight - I hope that maybe someday that'll be my dream come true - could it be you?

Jersey's adoption fee is $225 + $50 training deposit that is refunded upon proof of completion of an obedience course.
