Imagine if you will, a beautiful sunlit day by the ocean....with the sun’s rays playfully bouncing off of the shimmering shining water....this is the image that comes to mind when you meet this beautiful girl named Alohi. Her name means “shining” and her spirit embodies that image.

Alohi came to Buffalo Cares by way of the Bahamas. Since her arrival, Alohi has worked hard on being the very best dog she can be. Her obedience is very good; she walks nicely on leash at a heel, and she knows sit, down, place and come. Alohi is very brave and stoic; she approaches each day, and everything she does, with determination and graceful acceptance. Alohi loves every person she meets, and her beautiful brown eyes will always melt your heart.  Our little princess does have a few doggie friends,  but she would prefer to be the one and only royal pup in the home. Alohi attends group obedience classes and pack walks and, as with everything new she encounters, she is making excellent progress.

As the song says....”Turn on your heartlight. Let it shine wherever you go. Let it make a happy glow. For all the world to see...” Our girl Alohi has an incredibly beautiful heartlight ~ one that will shine brightly and forever❣️
