Hi there! My name is Ace and I am a 2 year-old German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix. I came to Buffalo CARES in search of my forever home. I currently live with my foster parents, a medium sized male dog, a small breed female dog, a ferret and a toddler.  I get along well with the dogs in my foster home. We love to play together.  I really like the little human in the house. He sneaks me treats when the big humans aren’t looking.  I have only interacted with the ferret through a cage. I have not been around any cats in my foster home.

My foster parents tell me that I am loving, playful, affectionate, goofy and smart. They are impressed with how quickly I learn new things. I am housebroken, and crate trained. I am currently crated at night and when my foster parents are at work.  I whine at first when I go into my crate but settle down after a few minutes and fall asleep.  My foster parents have been working on basic obedience with me. I really like treats and will do pretty much anything for one! I can sit and am working on “come” and “stay.” Since walks are my favorite thing in the entire world, I am working on my leash skills.
