Hi, my name is Calliope and I am a 15 month old Labrador Retriever mix. I am potty trained, crate trained, and I am working on basic manners like stay and paw. I do know how to sit... except it's more like a sit, slide down your legs to the ground so I can roll over and get belly rubs! I also do well on the leash and I come when I am called! I love all the fur-siblings I have here - 2 dogs and I have met some cats that I get along with, but I do not live with them. Me and my foster dog Otis romp around hard in the yard even make friends with the little bulldog and the shy shepherd next door through the chain link fence. If my canine foster brother doesn't want to play with me, I keep myself entertained with my toy box - it's one of my favorite things! Also, I love playing fetch!

I currently live with 3 kids ranging from 14 years old to 6 and 4 years old. The kids are a tad bit rowdy so we definitely get our play on for sure. Those 2 legged humans in the house match my outgoing personality and young puppy energy. I love when my foster mom takes me to the bus to watch them get on... sometimes I need to contain myself because I get excited and want to join them in this school adventure.. even though they whine all morning to our mom how boring it is. When mom is running late (because what female is not running late in the morning) and I have to stay in the yard while my 2 legged friends get on the bus, I like to stick my head under the fence and watch from afar.

I love love love puzzles that you put those delicious treats in, especially in the crate! My foster mom say I am a good girl with a sense of adventure with the perfect mix of puppy energy and love. I prefer a fenced yard to run around in if you are not very active. If I sound like the perfect girl for you, apply to adopt me at buffalocares.org
