Hi everyone, my name is Captain! I am a 2 year old boxer/lab mix. My foster mom tells me I am 43lbs of pure three legged perfection. I may be missing a leg, but it has not slowed me down at all. I can still do everything my foster brothers can do. I adore my foster family. I live with 4 kids, an old black lab, and a 6 month old puppy. I am very respectful that my older foster brother doesn’t play. I love to snuggle with him on the couch. I play hard with the puppy, but I know my limits and never play too rough. I am potty trained, and know basic commands such as sit, and down. I love going for walks, and am doing great on a leash. I really enjoy car rides too. I will pretty much do anything for treats, they are my favorite. At night, I happily sleep on a dog bed next to my foster mom. I feel safest near her. When she leaves the house, I have to go in my crate. I don’t love it, but I am learning to tolerate it until she gets back. I really just prefer to be where my people are. I just want what every dog wants: a safe and comfortable home where I can be loved.
