Description:
Hi, I’m Hannah, a six-year old Rotweiler. I live on a 2-acre piece of property and since I was about 6 months old I live in a barn with my very own dog house. I use to have an older step-brother who was a yellow lab and I loved playing and wrestling with him, but he was a lot older than me and no matter how much I tried to get him to play he just wanted to sleep. My humans also have chickens, and I take great pride in the way I protect them (and I’ve never eaten any of them, not even the baby chicks). Every other family on our street lost their entire chicken flocks last summer, but I only lost two chickens that wandered off to a very sly fox. Even though I like to roam within my electric fence area, I occasionally walk on a leash or if you carry a treat for me in your pocket I’ll walk next to you off my leash just anticipating when you will share my treat with me! My human family has a 7-year old boy and a 5-year old girl. I really like playing fetch with them when they play outside, but I think the boy thinks I’m a horse sometimes because he’s always trying to sit on me and have me give him rides! Sometimes I even get a special treat and get to have play dates with other human’s dogs, that’s always a lot of fun. I’m a pretty quiet girl, except when a wild creature comes in to the yard, after all I need to alert my humans that the chickens might be in danger and try to scare the creature away even if it is just a silly rabbit. I am looking for a forever family to call my own - could it be yours? Hannah's adoption fee is $225. All dogs come fully up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm tested, de-wormed, on flea and heart worm preventative, and spayed/neutered.
