Hi there! My name is Nessie and I am a 2 year old purebred Scottish terrier! I know, I know, it is not every day that you see a Wheaton colored Scottish terrier!  It is actually quite rare for a Scotty to be this color. But enough about my coloring and more about me! I am a puppy mill survivor.  I spent the last two years of my life breeding puppies.  Once I was no longer useful for the folks at the puppy mill, Buffalo C.A.R.E.S. took me under their wing to help me find my forever home. 

I have only been with Buffalo C.A.R.E.S. for a short time but am adjusting quite well to being a part of a family. I enjoy taking walks with my foster parents and my two (K9) foster brothers.  I like sitting outside in the sun and running through the grass. I am also starting to enjoy snuggling with my foster mom.  I am housebroken, crate-trained and am able to run up and down the stairs without hesitation.  My foster mom cannot believe the strides I have made in such a short amount of time. I am starting to come out of my shell more and more each day.  Now all I need is a forever family, could it be you?
