Hi, I’m Calli, a 6 year old, 11 lb. Maltese puppy mill rescue and am ready to find my forever home.  My foster Mom says that I am a total sweetheart!  I never knew what it was to be petted and loved, but I do now!  I absolutely love human touch, warmth and affection!  My tail is constantly wagging and it brings such joy to my foster Mom to hear my tail thump against whatever I am sitting on. If you pick me up, I will melt right into your shoulder.  It makes my foster Mom want to cry happy tears because she is so proud of how far I have come from my days at the puppy mill.

I walk well on a leash and use a harness when I am out on my walks.  I am crate trained.  I am also working hard on my housebreaking and do very well when taken out frequently.   I currently live with 3 other dogs and get along wonderfully with them.  I have also been exposed to cats and really have no interest in them.
