How do you do? My name is Maggie and I am looking for my perfect family this holiday season. I am collie mix, about 2 years old, and on the smaller side – about 35 pounds. I am sweet and loyal, and mostly want to be loved on. I am pleasantly quiet and calm. My favorite place is on the couch, next to my humans of course! I was found as stray down in S. Carolina. I came up to Buffalo CARES  back in October to help finish up treatment for  early stage heartworm.  I am doing very well and finished up the most recent treatment - meaning I am totally better and good to go.  Oh, and I can’t forget to mention those wonderful folks in S.C. and the group Running for Rescues who helped take care of me!  I like to take walks – meandering and moseying along, taking in the world. I enjoy hanging out in the backyard enjoying the sites.  I currently live with two other foster canine siblings both tiny and large. And, I have been exposed to children, though I can be a little wary with the excited ones at first and will remove myself from the action.  I am a mellow girl and would love to have a laid back house and family to be paired up with. So if you like to hang out and watch movies, read on the couch, and take leisurely strolls, I am your gal!
