Hi there!!  My name is Ghita and I am a happy, loving 2 year old Flat-coated Retriever/Collie mix.  I was found in Nassau, Bahamas walking the streets with a heavy metal chain around my neck. I was taken in by a very nice lady who contacted the people at Buffalo C.A.R.E.S. to help me find my forever home.  I am a very calm girl who loves to cuddle. I am starting to come out of my shell and show my personality. My foster parents tell me that I am crate trained, housebroken and walk well on a leash.  I am not sure what this means, but they sound very excited when they say it!  I currently live with my foster mom and dad, three furry foster siblings, a bunny and a ferret.  I get along well with other dogs (of all sizes) but have not had too much interaction with the small animals in the house.
