Hello there!  My name is Kanoo (it rhymes with Kazoo).  I am a sweet, docile gentleman. I used to live on the streets of Nassau in the Bahamas, but the good people of Buffalo C.A.R.E.S. arranged to have me brought to Buffalo to find my forever home.  My new life in Buffalo is just great (even if it is a little on the chilly side).  While living in my foster Mom’s home, I have discovered that I love to lounge on the couch and just soak up all of the attention and petting I can get.  If we’re not sitting on the couch cuddling, I will follow you around the house just to be near you. I like my daily walks and, if you’re willing to take me for more than one a day, all better!  I am crate trained, but it is not my favorite place to be.  I need a little coaxing to get it, but once I’m in there, I do just fine.  I am also completely house broken.  No accidents in my foster Mom’s house at all!  I am good with other animals and children.  I am cat curious and will try to play with my kitty foster sister, but she’s not too keen on me.  I know basic commands, like stop and come here but am still working on sit and stay.  My foster Mom says that I ride great in the car and will just relax in the back seat.  If you’re looking for a chill kind of guy who wants nothing more than to be your constant companion, I’m the one for you.
